- It can be a good idea to not have your favourite song during your Entrance. It will seem like the perfect place to have it, but most brides admit that they didn't hear the first song as they were so caught up in the big moment!
- It can be very atmospheric to have an instrumental version of your Entrance song for the Lighting Of The Candles.
- As a general rule, for specific parts of the mass, only religious themed songs can be used. These are the Psalm, Alleluia, Offertory, Holy Holy, Amen, Sign Of Peace and Communion.
- Depending on the size of your Wedding, 2 Communion songs will normally suffice. You must also bear in mind that you may have the Reflection after Communion read or sung.
- The Psalm can either be read or sung. This is up to the couple as sometimes you may like to have a member of the family read the Psalm. If the Psalm is being sung it is a good idea to tell/remind the people doing the 1st and 2nd Readings that the Psalm comes in between the 2 readings. (it can be a bit embarrassing for the person doing the Second reading when they go to the mic to read only to then end up standing there for the entire Psalm!)
